“Agarita En” is a Japanese-inspired stroll garden completed in Fall 2023, blending traditional principles with native Texas landscapes. A dry river bisects the site; shady plantings evoke cool hill‑country grottos; boulders and desert specimens reference West Texas. Designed to transport visitors, it encourages mindful observation. Reused materials—vintage window weights, bricks, pottery shards—serve as mitate-mono, inviting new perspectives.
